What's included in a meal-kit box?
- Locally sourced freshest produce
- House-made sauces and spice mixes
- Pre-portioned ingredients for zero food waste
- Easy step-by-step cooking instructions
- Sustainable packaging materials
How sustainable is your packaging?
In line with our purpose to create a happier, healthier and fairer world, we strive to minimise waste and minimise the use of plastic wherever possible.
As opposed to most other meal-kit services, we package dry goods, such as rice, in brown paper bags. We seal these with Sellotape Enviro Tape, which is made from regenerated wood pulp, and is biodegradable and compostable.
Nuts and seeds come in glassine paper bags (recyclable, biodegradable and compostable).
Our house-made spice mixes are packaged in biodegradable and compostable wood-based cellophane.
Our meal bags are made from FSC and PEFC certified paper (recyclable, biodegradable and compostable).
Our delivery boxes are 100% recyclable and made with recycled material. We use Biogone biodegradable and recyclable tape to seal your box. Once disposed to landfill biodegradation is accelerated approximately 90+% faster than conventional tape, producing an organic matter (a natural fertiliser) and no microplastics, making it non-toxic and ecofriendly.
Regrettably, at this point, we can't totally eliminate plastic. We use LDPE4 plastic bags (until recently REDcycle recyclable, unfortunately the program has been paused) to protect the freshness and quality of fresh herbs and other perishable produce.
The thermal pouch and ice pack that we use for the most temperature-sensitive ingredients are also made of LDPE4.
We use recyclable polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or recyclable polypropylene (PP) containers for our house-made sauces, marinades, etc.
We have decided to use recyclable instead of compostable plastic, because most compostable plastic ends up in landfill, where it releases methane, which is even more harmful than CO2.
We are constantly on the lookout for new packaging solutions to further reduce our environmental footprint and strengthen our position as Australia’s most sustainable meal-kit service.
You can find more details about our packaging on our packaging page (accessible via the bottom menu on our website).

General questions & information
Do you cater to diet preferences?
We offer calorie-smart (maximum 600 calories per serve), no-added-gluten and high-protein (at least 25g per serve) options.
Please note that our no-added-gluten recipes are not suitable for coeliacs due to the risk of traces of gluten.
While care is taken to prevent cross-contamination of allergens, such as wheat, we cannot guarantee that traces are not present.
This is because our food is prepared in a kitchen where we handle products containing gluten and other allergens.
Also, since everything is 100% vegan, there is no milk, cheese, or other dairy products in our meals.
Everything is 100% plant-based.
What sets you apart from other meal-kit services?

We care about every customer and every box we deliver, and our customers love our personal service.
Also, we are transparent in ordering. No contracts or subscriptions required!
What makes your food healthy?
Our nutritionist-designed menu is rooted in the whole-food plant-based diet, which many scientists consider the healthiest diet on the planet.
Eating healthy vegan food is known to boost energy levels, physical performance and immunity, promote weight-loss and even prevent or halt chronic diseases, including heart disease, type-2 diabetes and various types of cancer.
